This cute little house is the Brumberger Town House which dates
from the 1970s. It is made of hard board with lithographed paper
exterior and floors. A few of the interior walls are also lithographed
paper. I have wallpapered the remaining walls.
The house has the original door and frame and the majority of its plastic
window inserts. The skylight is not the original. To dress up the two missing
window frames, I have added two lovely little window boxes. I attached them by
creating hooks of twisted copper wire so that they are easily removable with no
damage to the house. If you should have the right windows, you could remove the
boxes and insert your windows.
Also, I only had one half of the chimney. I found it in my stash of
miscellaneous dollhouse parts. Maybe you have the other half in your collection!
The roof parts over the dormer windows are plastic and have the original decals
in place. The same house, pictured in Dian Zillner's International Dollhouses
& Accessories show the house without the dormer decals.
The furnishings I chose for this house are mostly Marx and Wolverine. The
pieces were chosen specifically to compliment the wallpapers and floors.
