An absolutely delicious masonite dollhouse from Brumberger, the company that purchased the T. Cohn company. Originally furnished with the small scale Superior furniture that was a T. Cohn product, the smaller scale furnishings seemed overpowered by the roominess of the dollhouse. I chose to furnish
this one with thirty-three pieces from several different companies including Marx, Arco, Wolverine, Tomy and even a Fisher-Price fireplace.
Some of the Brumberger dollhouses came with tin floors, but this one is all
Masonite. The floors were lithographed but most of the interior walls were all just plain dull
Masonite. The exception was the kitchen wall, which was papered with a solid color. I have papered all the rooms and they are ready for a decorator's touch to add pictures or posters. Or just to leave as they are.
All the plastic windows and doors are in excellent condition.
The dimensions are: 23-1/2" wide, 10" deep and 20" tall at the chimney.
