A Wonderful WW2-Era Dollhouse by Keystone!
A Rare One-Of-A-Kind House!

Made by the Keystone Manufacturing Company in 1942. Keystone toys have been hard to find on eBay!. This house is sturdily constructed of wood and fiberboard. It has stamped-metal windows that open to the outside.

This two story, four room dollhouse came to us from a doll and toy auction and was completely bare on the inside. It was just plain, dark fiberboard. What makes this house special and OOAK is its custom decoration!

The exterior finish has been untouched. The paint on the roof is in good condition, and there is one rounded corner at the left front corner. The house's painted decorations have faded a bit from age, but it is still in good condition. The front door is missing. The chimney is detachable, just fitting into a set of slots at the roof peak.

The doll house's dimensions are 22 inches tall, 26 inches wide, 13 inches deep. The house and contents weigh almost 19 pounds!

Linda has decorated the interior with new wallpaper and floor coverings that really brighten up the inside! She has also added a complete collection of premium miniature wood furniture that is appropriate in scale. She also handcrafted the bed's quilt and pillows. If you look closely at the photos, you will also see the miniature doilies and a baby afghan that Linda has crocheted especially for this house!

The house has been furnished with wood furniture and accessories. There are lots of nice little touches! There's a butter churn in the kitchen, a miniature set of blue speckleware including place settings for four!  Notice a folding screen in the bathroom.
There's a box of firewood next to the fireplace in the parlor. The bedroom features a custom miniature quilt and matching pillows on the bed as well as a miniature baby afghan in the cradle.  All-in-all, a wonderful example of the mass-produced playsets made in the 1940s!
